Behind the Lens:
Karthikha & Prathibha
Visual storytellers driven by an enduring passion to frame life's most heartfelt memories — and an unwavering determination to reshape how the world sees women in photography.
How Our Story Began
Our journey did not start in an opulent commercial studio. It began quietly with a handheld camera, documenting the laughter, candid smiles, and everyday moments of our college friends while we were pursuing our degrees in Commerce (B.Com).
What started as an intuitive instinct to freeze genuine emotion quickly deepened into a lifelong calling. We realized that photographs are not simply static images — they are the enduring emotional vessels of human memory.
Five Years of Determination
Transforming that initial spark into an independent photography practice took roughly five years of relentless grit, patient learning, and continuous creative refinement.
From dawn muhurthams at historic South Indian temples to delicate newborn portrait sessions and high-fashion editorial sets, we expanded our craft across diverse genres: weddings, pre-weddings, maternity milestones, newborn captures, celebrations, and commercial products.
Challenging the Stereotype
"Our motive was to change the view of people who think photography is a male-centered profession."
Stepping forward as women entrepreneurs in this industry demanded resilience. We wanted our work to speak first — with technical precision, artistic sensitivity, and deep emotional resonance. Today, we stand proud as founders inspiring the next generation of creative women to claim their space behind the viewfinder.
Our Photographic Principles
Empathy Before the Shutter
We listen and build authentic comfort before we ever raise a camera. True expression only emerges in trust.
Unobtrusive Documentation
Whether sacred rituals or spontaneous toddler smiles, we capture moments as they unfold naturally without artificial interruption.
Timeless Craftsmanship
Color palettes, lighting, and composition that feel as timeless and moving twenty years from today as they do right now.
